The missile flies downrange, towards the vanishing point actually below the horizon. Sightlines and property lines skewed by flying gravities, whose perpetual motion violates the norms of physical space (missiles launched two years ago are still traveling, here, at Deseret. they head towards the horizon, but they never get there, for various reasons... they never stop going).
