A white box surrounds a live Nipkow-dissected and reconstructed hand, turning on itself slowly in the constrained space. These images were transmitted as strange sounds over the radio, and reconstructed by a special set bought as extra attachment to the home radio. There were several hundred station broadcasting images like this throughout the world in the late 1920's.
