White clouds, or
smoke, a
substance that calms
bees, by interfering with their smell
language. As the
smoke clears, we see the top of the
hive, with diagonal frames and random patches of excess
comb scattered on the frames' narrow edges.
Bees walk and
fly, unperturbed by their new ignorance.
