Three types of bees in a single floral frame. There might also be a fourth type, a television bee (not seen here), whose two front eyes long ago fused and became phosphorescent, like the rear of a firefly. A system of pheromone communication is said to control the many separated parts of these glowing eye images. An anatomy of the television bee is provided separately.
